On all engagements, we leverage the Tallan Solutions Framework (TSF), our five-phase project approach that has been executed across many customer engagements of various project types and sizes. TSF significantly reduces the risk associated with application development to ensure we deliver a superior solution to you, on time and within or under budget. The TSF Phases are:


Envisioning is about creating a business vision and defining the scope of work necessary to bring the vision to reality (e.g., business case justification, business studies).

Planning and Design

Planning continues until we have detailed functional requirements, system and application architectures, the user interface prototype, and a detailed project plan for the remainder of the project.


The Developing phase begins with the first iteration of development, continues with multiple iterations called “sprints”, and culminates with the functionality complete milestone (or Beta release).


The Stabilizing phase represents testing and acceptance of the application. Test plans and acceptance criteria are solidified during the Planning and Design phase.


The Deploying phase includes final development, release management, deployment and transitioning ownership to the client.
