Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Consultant with a focus on Power BI, you will be exploring cutting-edge technologies and putting them into practice for our clients. You can expect to interact directly with the client and their team, gathering requirements and offering solutions to business challenges. As the senior programmer on a development team, you will be heavily involved in system design, mentoring Consultants and the overall technical direction of the project to provide innovative solutions and long-term success.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Architect, develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence, data warehouse and analytics solutions using Power BI.
- Design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) routines, perform data profiling and data cleansing, and create BI dashboards and reports.
- Leverage knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack (SQL, SSIS, SSAS) and other enterprise tools to build and support solutions.
- Understands and can explicitly articulate technology solutions with the client as it relates to the client’s project requirement and business needs.
- Upholds the ethics and values of the company.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent development experience
- Five to seven (5-7) years of equivalent programing and development experience.
- Experience of 3+ years in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization using the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SQL Server, Power BI)
- Ability to write complex queries
- Proficient in practicing the software development life cycle
- Knowledge and experience with Agile best practices
- Exceptional written communication using email and slide deck presentations
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting to organization leadership
