We’re thrilled to share a customer story recently published by Microsoft on their Customer Blog. The solution focused on customized marketing bots for a multi-faceted marketing & media agency. Upon assessing the customer’s needs, Tallan knew leading-edge Microsoft bot technology was a perfect for delivering a comprehensive solution to be utilized for a variety of the client’s own customers.
Tallan used Microsoft Bot Framework to create the Bot Content Management System and used Power BI to track the analytics. Language Understanding (LUIS), QnA Maker, Computer Vision, and Text Analytics were among the Azure Cognitive Services used for the engagement. Tallan assisted the agency in developing creative marketing campaigns that increased revenue for both the customer and its clients. Our history with Microsoft has proved advantageous for our clients throughout the duration of our partnership. Tallan was intrigued by bot possibilities from the beginning, when Microsoft introduced its conversational AI stack, and set out to strategically drive more business in the bot space with its customers. We took part in Chatbot-in-a-Day events and collaborated with Microsoft to deliver workshops, attract potential customers, and demonstrate the capabilities of bots.
To provide more insight into our solution, Tallan used the Microsoft conversational AI stack, which includes the Microsoft Bot Framework SDK and Azure Cognitive Services, to create a Bot Content Management System (CMS). There is potential to utilize the Bot CMS to create a variety of bots for a variety of purposes, such as providing a free credit score to customers who test-drive a car. By automating these tasks, Tallan assisted the agency in increasing engagement with consumers and their brands across multiple channels, including Facebook Messenger. To support this range of bot functionality, the company used Language Understanding (LUIS), QnA Maker, Computer Vision, and Text Analytics, all of which are part of Cognitive Services.
As we gained a deep understanding of Microsoft Bot Framework, we were able to create reusable dialogues and make them dynamic and relevant to exactly what customers needed.
Tallan was able to continuously churn out bots because the processes were digital, resulting in quick publishing, analytics, and metrics reporting to the customer. The company used Microsoft Power BI to create reports that showed the agency analytics on bot campaign performance, such as where prospective clients drop off in the funnel, how many people used the bot, and the most frequently asked questions. Tallan worked on new campaigns continuously for three years, and the agency’s sales team understood how to sell bot solutions to the agency’s clients. Tallan had the opportunity to deepen its understanding of bot technology and then develop bot templates based on its expertise because the agency provided consistent bot work.
