Envisioning Process

Envisioning, in most cases, is a week long effort and consists of:

• Tallan-moderated meetings between the Tallan Practice Lead, Tallan Director, and client stakeholders (2 - 2.5 days)
  These essential, highly detailed meetings ensure that Tallan understands the current environment and gives the client stakeholders ample time to discuss their requirements for their new site. We moderate the meetings and use our ecommerce knowledge to ensure that no areas of ecommerce are omitted from discussion.
• Analysis, documentation, and estimation (1.5 - 2 days)
  Tallan uses the middle part of the engagement to compile all notes taken during the meetings, ask additional clarifying questions, and create an initial timeline and cost estimate for developing, testing, and deploying the first release.
• Requirement, backlog, and estimate review (.5 days)
  On the final day everyone convenes to review and discuss the list of requirements for the first release, the product backlog containing the current list of features desired in future releases, and the initial timeline and cost estimate that we have created.
